Description
A plump, spherical Snezhnayan fish, this species might look like a distant cousin to the pufferfish found throughout Teyvat. However, the two actually belong to entirely separate lineages. When the Fishing Association first recorded it, its code name was "Snowland Roundfin." After more than a dozen generations of anglers, this informal name gradually evolved into "Snowfin." The Charcoal Snowfin is the most common subspecies in this family. It is said that the fine, powdery scales contain special components. When dried and ground, and then mixed with the dried powder of Golden Fern roots, they can serve as a remarkably efficient fire starter, prized by many Snezhnayan adventurers.
